Endowment Fund Philanthropic Services

As chair of the Endowment Committee at the San Francisco-based Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund, Laura is leading the initiative to build a robust philanthropy advisory practice known as Federation Philanthropy Partners, serving 900 Donor Advised Funds and dozens of Supporting Foundations with assets exceeding $2 billion. The practice focuses on providing holistic support to individuals and families across generations to connect impact and meaning through Jewish values in philanthropy and a new social impact investment platform. This includes opportunities for Environmental, Social Governance funds, an agency loan fund and a wide array of other financial products and tools that embrace the opportunity for donors and investors at every level to leverage philanthropic capital more broadly in impact investing to complement more traditional philanthropy. Last year, donors made 10,000 grants to hundreds of organizations totaling $219 million to a variety of Jewish and secular causes.
